Chartreuse Fiesta (Post 1986),
aka Chartreuse Fiestaware

In 1997, Homer Laughlin decided to reintroduce a popular Fifties Fiesta color, chartreuse, into the line. The original Fifties chartreuse was produced from 1951 to 1959. Brighter than the original, the new chartreuse ran from 1997 to 1999.

Millions of people for decades commonly referred to this china as chartreuse Fiestaware.

Since the color's official retirement in 1999, collectors have already been actively buying and selling it. Pieces in this color sell well above their original prices. Keep in mind when shopping that you could be looking at either vintage Fiesta or post-86.
