Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1-pound box (3-3/4 cups) confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend the softened cream cheese and butter with an electric mixer.
  2. Beat in the sugar, a little at a time.
  3. Add the vanilla and pecans, if desired, and mix well.
