Description
Enjoy a dinner of chicken breasts spiked with lemon and jalapeño flavors.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 5 garlic cloves, put through a garlic press
- 2 to 3 fresh jalapeños, stemmed, seeded and minced
- 1 3-1/2- to 4-pound chicken, cut up (or equivalent weight of your favorite pieces)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the grill.
- Combine the lemon juice, garlic and chiles in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Rinse the chicken pieces and pat dry. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place chicken on the grill. Brush liberally with the chile mixture. Cook 25 minutes, then turn chicken pieces, brushing with remaining chile mixture. Cook another 25 minutes until done.
