Hot without Burning
Trivets are a nifty, and very useful, little item which HLC has produced in many of the post-86 Fiesta colors. These small, round discs are able to handle the heat of hot pots and and pans so that you do not burn the countertop.
Trivets (from the latin word meaning tripod), are traditionally standing, three-legged structures used to hold the dish above the table surface. Some are purely decorative. Either way, these are nice ceramic pieces.
I do not see Fiesta trivets much in department stores, so I have had to purchase all of mine online.
HLC has produced Fiesta trivets in all of the post-86 colors, except Sapphire.
