Description

Like Blue Cheese in burgers? Here is a perfect recipe for you. 


Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 3-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Combine the ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt and pepper, mixing well. Shape mixture into 8 patties about 4 inches in diameter.
  2. Mix the cream cheese, blue cheese and mustard until smooth. Divide the mixture among 4 of the beef patties, spreading to within 1/2 inch of the edge. Top with a remaining patty, sealing edges firmly.
  3. Grill patties about 4 inches from coals or heating element, turning once, 5 to 7 minutes on each side for medium.
  4. Makes 6 servings.
