This punch is both beautiful and delicious. Many punch recipes are essentially pouring a bottle of cranberry juice into the bowl. Instead you make a batter of cranberry sauce, lemon juice and orange juice. Yes, this ultimately sinks and creates sediment, but you and your guests can stir the punch back up. It tastes very nice.
If the sweetness of the ginger ale is too overpowering, cut the amount in half and substitute club soda. You can also spike the punch with vodka, and here in Texas we have the delicious Deep Eddy Cranberry vodka which is perfect for this.
This recipe calls for an ice ring. You can be creative and use a silicone Jell-O mold, or silicone baking cake mold, if you have one. Also, Amazon sells them.

Ingredients
- 2 16-ounce cans jellied cranberry sauce
- 1-1/2 cups orange juice
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 2-liter bottle chilled ginger ale
Instructions
- Beat the cranberry sauce until smooth. Stir in the orange and lemon juice.
- Pour cranberry mixture over an ice ring or block in a punch bowl. Resting bottle on rim of the punch bowl, slowly pour in the ginger ale.
- Makes just over 3 quarts.
