Melon Mélange Recipe

This Melon Mélange salad looks pretty, even if you don’t use a melon baller. If you want to make this fruit salad as part of a buffet or crowd, you can double the recipe and serve it up in a hollowed-out watermelon half.

Description

Nothing beats a beautiful fruit salad. 


Ingredients

  • 1/2 6-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate
  • 1/2 6-ounce can frozen orange juice concentrate
  • 2 tablespoons triple sec
  • 4 cups assorted melon balls or chunks (cantaloupe, honeydew and watermelon)
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh preferred; if canned, drain well)
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes
  • 1 cup fresh strawberry halves

Instructions

  1. Combine the lemonade and orange juice concentrate with triple sec, and mix well.
  2. In a large bowl, gently stir together all the fruit. Pour the juice mixture over the fruit, and carefully stir.
  3. Cover and refrigerate several hours before serving.
  4. Makes about 8 servings.
