Description
Bourbon and vanilla ice cream are two great tastes that taste great together.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 cups half-and-half
- fresh mint sprigs (optional)
Instructions
- Beat the eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer. Gradually add the sugar. Then add the bourbon and condensed milk, mixing well. Add the half-and-half.
- Pour mixture into freezer can of hand-turned or electric ice cream freezer. Freeze according to freezer manufacturer’s directions. Let ice cream ripen for at least one hour before serving.
- Makes about 3 quarts.
