Description

Bourbon and vanilla ice cream are two great tastes that taste great together. 


Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 6 cups half-and-half
  • fresh mint sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Beat the eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer. Gradually add the sugar. Then add the bourbon and condensed milk, mixing well. Add the half-and-half.
  2. Pour mixture into freezer can of hand-turned or electric ice cream freezer. Freeze according to freezer manufacturer’s directions. Let ice cream ripen for at least one hour before serving.
  3. Makes about 3 quarts.
