Milk Punch from Green Pastures Recipe

Milk Punch is an historic recipe that passed from 17th century England into the parlours of the Old South. Green Pastures, one of Austin’s oldest restaurants, honors this recipe by serving it every week as part of their Sunday brunch. It’s a lovely place with a large, stately lawn peopled by old oak trees. Since opening in the 1940’s, their brunches have become legendary.

Sipping on a glass of milk punch is a very nice way to pass the time on a hot Texas afternoon.
