Description

Elotes (Mexican Corn) is popular street food in Mexico, which means they are going to be delicious to eat. 


Ingredients

  • 8 ears fresh corn
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup chili powder
  • 8 squares aluminum foil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter with the chili powder until mixture is smooth.
  2. Coat each ear of corn with approximately 1 tablespoon of the butter mixture. Wrap each ear in aluminum foil.
  3. To grill, cook with grill lid down, over medium-hot coals 15 to 20 minutes, turning once. For the oven, roast at 350°F for 15 to 20 minutes.

Notes

 Use heavy-duty aluminum foil for grilling.
