Introducing the Texas Twirler! We wanted to create a special drink with vodka and Big Red soda. To make it more interesting, we used the delicious Red Creme Soda from the venerable Dublin Bottling Works in Dublin, Texas. (Dublin sodas are made with sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup.)
The Texas Twirler is a cool alternative to the run of the mill screwdriver – equal parts vodka, orange juice and red cream soda. Top it off with some Topo Chico or club soda to smooth it out.

What happens when you combine vodka and Big Red, Texas-style?
Ingredients
- 2 ounces vodka
- 2 ounces orange juice
- 2 ounces red cream soda (Big Red or Red Cream Soda)
- Splash of Topo Chico or club soda
Instructions
- Pour all of the ingredients over ice into a highball glass and stir.
- Garnish with lime.
